My concentration is an exploration of the abstraction of rocks and minerals. I use texture and color to emphasis the art. I really like this painting but I cannot get past the yellow sperm in the middle of the painting. I am definitely going to go back and change that.
Ahhh yellow sperm... I don't think I would've noticed that if you didn't point it out! I love the color contrast in all of your pieces. I would leave the tail of the sperm so that it is just a little sliver of yellow and change the head of the sperm into something else, like a different color and shape. The reddish purple color under the big blob of yellow is nice! You should maybe use that again.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA so funny. I personally thought it looked like a cute yellow balloon. Anyways, I honestly love your use of colors and blended color and smooshed color and contrasting colors. I particularly like the purples in this piece. The right side with all of the blended colors looks good compared to the more rigid colors on the left side of the page. Well done!
